Due to the current situation Lisburn BMX Club / Lisburn BMX Track (‘The Facility’)need to implement some Guidelines and restrictions to comply with Current legislation .

Cooperation is needed from all members & ride pass holders and their families in operating within the guidelines and also continuing to adopt good personal hygiene practices.

We have introduced scheduled track sessions to ensure we stay within all guidelines and allow all members and ride pass holders time on the track.  At the moment this is one session per week.

We understand this is a difficult time for us all but we would ask you to follow and explain the below to all riders. We’re all in this together! And it’s not going to last forever, the more cooperation we can get the quicker the progression to the further steps and greater numbers.

All riders must have a Lisburn BMX Club Membership or RidePass to book, each applicable rider will be issued an ID which must be used upon booking.


Before you make a booking you will need to fill out a personal screening questionnaire for the rider/riders – this must be done for each session you book.

Lisburn BMX Club is ran by volunteers and the slots will fluctuate depending on volunteer commitments

Once you make a booking, this will be checked and the booking will be approved, bookings are not valid unless you have received an approval email.
Please only book sessions for your household/ family

  • Bookings will open on a Monday morning you can book one slot of your choice for the current week Monday-sunday.
  • From the Tuesday of the current week if there are slots available , please feel free to book a second  slot – at the moment no more than two per week as we have over 100 memberships to allow access
  • Please dont book a second slot before the Tuesday of the current week- this will be cancelled.
  • If you can not make the slot please use the cancellation link on the booking or approval email

For example: Slot booked for Saturday ,  if by the tuesday of that current week there are free slots you can book the rider in for another slot for any day which has availability that current week an so forth.


Data:  all data will be kept by Lisburn BMX Club in the event contact tracing is needed,information will be shared with relevant authorities and cycling ireland  please ensure you use the correct email and phone number.

If you are sick please stay home, if you have:

  • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature);
  • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

Please do not attend the track.
At the moment there are no toilet facilities at the track- these cannot be used.


  • Parents are to use the main council car park at the entrance.
  • 2m distancing must be adhered to at all times and individuals must not congregate.


  • One Per rider/riders if possible.
  • Parent/Guardians are not permitted within the facility / Club.
  • Must stay in the council carpark area and not the facility / Club.
  • Please explain all the rules to the riders.
  • 2m distancing must be adhered to at all times and individuals must not congregate.


  • Two Lisburn BMX Club committee members will be on site
  • All committee members are Fully first aid trained and have, Valid AccessNI Certificates, Valid safeguarding Certificates , at least Level one Cycling Ireland coaching

Track entry/exit

  • Please follow the one way system in the park,  follow signage to the left around the park, please do not allow riders to come down the lane as this is the wrong way.
  • Please follow the one way system in the park, exit the facility to the left and to the main carpark.
  • 2m distancing to be adhered to at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer available for those not wearing gloves.
  • Riders are to come dressed ready to ride- parent/guardian  must check they are ready to go.

Sessions: At the moment this is 1/2 sessions per week.

  • Sessions are 1.5 hour long.
  • Use Rider name and REF ID
  • Once booked session’s cannot be ”swapped” you can cancel and re book, as we need accurate data for contact tracing.
  • Please do not arrive too early too the facility to avoid congregation.
  • After your allocated time please leave the site to the left and to the carpark to allow the next session to arrive.
  • You can book one session per week only.

Facility Limit

  • Maximum of 30 including riders & committee  per session


  • 2m distancing at all times must be adhered to and riders must not congregate on track or around the track.
  • 3 Riders on the track at one time
  • Must bring their own water and have it clearly marked, there are designated areas on the picnic benches to place water/ bags
  • Must stay on the track or designated area- Full laps only
  • Must listen to all instructions from officials.
  • Leave after their session is over.

Coaching and training

  • Singular track training only.

Competitive Racing

  • None permitted.


  • 3 Riders on the gate at one time

In addition booking through the below system you are providing your electronic ”signature” for all Current track rules & Policies , there will be no request to sign on at the track
